I love the salt air, the sand, the crashing of the waves, sunrises, sunsets,  the beautiful sea creatures & treasures that one can find… 

It’s only fitting that I have  transformed my house into what resembles a beach house and sitting on a shelf in my office, a collection of books by Sandy Gingras..

Cute little books that teach us to enjoy life’s simple treasure.

Naturally, when I heard about the book Beach Money  by Jordan Adler my ears perked up. By the 3rd recommendation I ordered it immediately.. 

Hey,  I love sand dollars as much as the next guy… 

Actually, it made me think of how I always tell others that a person can earn an income from anywhere, even a beach chair.  This is proof!!  Jordan calls it Beach Money for good reason.  

 It focuses is on how the average person can realize their dreams and become a success.  Jordan share his many many failures and triumphs, along with his simple success formula.  Simple enough for an 8 year old. 

He teaches how the average person can earn a massive passive income, whether you get up and go to work or head to the beach to play. 

Jordan’s book makes you realize that IT IS WITHIN YOUR REACH.  There is no need to settle for average, an average income or life.

Since I’m a much better listener than reader, I purchased the audio.  I am now on round 3.  I can’t get enough…. 

Jordan Adler touches on putting your dreams on paper.  Writing the story of your life and read it each and every day as if it’s already happened…   

A dream is only a dream until put on a calendar. 

 If you want something to come to fruition, live it as tho it had already happened. 

Plant it into your mind, have faith, take action and see what happens!!

Wow, I never thought I would be taking about hypnosis… 

As a matter of  fact, one of my good friends/client and owner of one of the longest running comedy clubs in South Florida does an amazing  hypno act. 

I truly didn’t believe I could be hypnotized and certainly wasn’t going to let him try either. 

Then I received an email…   You can say it caught my attention.  

Sure some famous hypnotist  to the stars is going to put me under through an audio on my computer.

I humored myself. 

Just for kicks I opened  the link on my phone, plugged in some ear buds and next thing I know I’M AT THE BEACH.

 Not even Calgon could do this!

I would have never guessed.   I must say it worked on me…  The big skeptic that I was.

Well,  It’s  been way too long since my last blog post..

Call me a slacker if you may, I’ve just been up to NO  GOOD in other places.

One of my dear partners and I are working on an amazing project that will help parents empower children everwhere.

I can’t let the cat out of the bag  just yet, but I do promise, it will be worth the wait.

As for the present  moment,  I’m in a beautiful hotel room writing to YOU.  I’ve spent the day with some of the most empowering women entrepreneurs on the planet at the Real Savvy Success Event in Orlando, FL.  You must hear the “Brownie” Story  that Dawn Billings shared with us.. Bring Tissues, you’ll need them. 

Today, I also had the opportunity to meet some of my Internet family.  The beautiful ladies of the Home and Small Business Network. My great teacher,  Diane Hochman, along with Miriam Burr and Leslie Boardman.  Talk about the power of video and social media. I felt like I’ve known these ladies for years. So cool to finally connect in person.

Time to get some shut eye.   Another exciting day awaits us tomorrow.

I’ll Never Lose Weight…

I’ll never get out of debt.

I’ll never find my soul mate.

I’ll never be successful.

Nothing good ever happens to me.

Do you ever catch yourself thinking those things or something similar?             

Your brain is your biggest enemy as well as your greatest asset.

The MIND is a powerful thing.  In order to win the belief battle and free yourself, you first need to break free of NEGATIVE THINKING. 

You’ve heard of the Secret, The Power of the Subconscious Mind etc.  Every Time you have a negative thought and believe you can’t do something, you’re right.  You won’t.   It’s simple.

Change to the Positive.   Eliminate the words “I can’t or I won’t” from your vocabulary.

Grab the remote and change the channel in your mind.  W hen your thoughts get scary or uneasy, tune into to another show. 

Something happy, good and positive.

Need a new body?

Imagine yourself on the beach this summer in a fabulous new swim suit.     I imagine myself crossing that finish line sporting a lean athletic body and receiving tiara metal around my neck.

Simply retrain & reprogram your BRAIN, eventually the new way of thinking will take over.

I have a very special buddy who knows she had been negative in the past.  She has worked very hard to change her ways and has done a wonderful job. 

I believe she is a new person.  Now she can spot a negative person a mile away..

Kind of like the ex smoker smelling smoke. 

 When you break the negative thinking from your life, you wake up happier, your day goes smoother and you let many of life’s little annoyances roll off your back.

So get VISUAL.   Imagine how you want your day to go, what you want your life to be like.  See yourself achieving success, wearing that fabulous new outfit or walking down the aisle, whatever it may be.  Close your eyes and visualize your goals.

The more you do it, the more convinced your subconscious mind becomes.  However, if you don’t believe in YOU, you will never achieve.

My tip to keeping on track,

Use a Gratitude Rock or something similar.

 I actually have a beautiful rock that I keep in my pocket or handbag.   Each time I see or touch the rock, I think positive thoughts about where I’m going and what I’m going to accomplish.  

 I also pause for a moment and think of one thing I am grateful for…    Once you begin to realize all the blessings in your life, you become more empowered to seek out what it is you actually want and it becomes much easier to accomplish.

Can you believe it’s almost a month into 2011?  Seriously?  Where does the time go?

How’s your year going so far?

I’ve been placing much of my focus on good health & goal setting,  helping many get on the right track to great natural health, losing weight and feeling great.

One huge “Healthy” goal for me is being able to run a 1/2 marathon in February with my daughter.  It’s a big challenge for me, but working daily to cross that finish line and sport that shiny tiara.

Talk about running, running and more running.  Yikes, sometimes I feel as if I can’t walk.

Yet, in between dashes, I’ve also been totally immersed in some very intense marketing training with the Home and Small Business Network thus putting  this page on the back burner for a few weeks.

The good news..   I have tons of “Golden Nuggets” that I can’t wait to share with you.

In the past year, I’ve  learned that much success in business is all in the list.  Having  a following, having permission to contact people with information that they may be interested in.   To put it simply, building a list of people that trust in you.

List building doesn’t have to be fancy or costly, however, there are some basic techniques and tips to doing it correctly.

 The simpler it is, the better.   Your list is based on your “Target Market”.   Those whom  you can serve with the knowledge you have and what it is you have to offer.   It’s all about making that connection.

Since I’ve put these key markeing elements in place, my lists have been growing and I’ve connected with so many really cool people, like yourself.

I must admit, I haven’t been doing it alone.  

With the help of this wonderful marketing community and a simple inexpensive, often free, tool , they have played a huge part in my ability to get myself out there and serve others.  Notice I say serve and not sell.  The key is to help someone and the rest will come.
